With such an exciting project, high targets, and with so many people involved in making it happen, it seems only fitting that we should celebrate with an official launch party, and give us the opportunity to raise even more cash for Sands.
Join us on Saturday 18th September 2010 from 6.30pm
Heart of England Conference Centre, CV7 8DX
The Launch Party will provide us with:
- A night of fun and frolics for all involved, including entertainment, competitions and quizzes
- An opportunity to reveal the calendar, and sell them to the launch party guests
- A chance to raise additional money for Sands through auctions and exhibitors
- An opportunity for press and media to get involved and see what we've created
You are invited to come and join us at this event to meet everyone involved in making the project happen, to help us raise additional money for such a worthwhile cause, and to have a ruddy good time!
Entertainment
We have a 45min slot available for a live band, singer or musician to join us on the evening. We'll also be needing a disco, for those of us who wish to get our dancing shoes on. And if you can provide any other form of entertainment we'd be really interested to hear from you. We'll promote you on our website, on promotion of the launch event and on the evening itself.
Charity Auction
We'll be hosting a charity auction on the evening of the Mums Mission Launch, with our very own auctioneer, Brody Swain of Touch Radio. We're looking for at least 6 top quality items to be donated to the cause that can be auctioned without a reserve. All proceeds of the auction will go to our total raise for Sands, Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Charity. We're looking for desirables valued between £50 and £300, and as well as the auction in the evening, we'll be inviting attendees of The Mumpreneur Conference and Awards to submit silent bids during the day.
Cake Sale
We'd like to sell Mums Mission themed cupcakes on the evening (with mums mission toppers). We're looking for someone to donate some basic cupcakes with basic buttercream icing (we will source toppers) for the cake sale. We anticipate selling 50-100 cupcakes at an approximate price of £2 each. Your donation would therefore enable Mums Mission to donate a further £100-£200 to Sands. We would promote you and your business on our website, and on the evening itself. Please contact us to discuss.
Exhibitors
There are limited spaces for exhibitors to join us on the evening. If your company is involved in raising money for Sands, please contact us to discuss how we can help you promote your products/services. If you'd like to take an exhibition stand at the event, this will cost £50, all of which will be added to the Mums Mission total and donated to Sands. If you want to sell products in order to donate profits to Sands via Mums Mission, please email us to discuss. Please contact us with details of what you'd like to exhibit.
Giveaways, Quizzes and Competitions
We've organised a range of interactive games to take place throughout the evening, and we are looking for small prizes to be able to giveaway to the winners. If you can provide us with a prize of any size, please contact us. We will promote you through our website and on the evening itself in exchange for your donation.
Photo Booth
We'd be interested to speak to any photographers who'd like to set up a photo booth at the launch party, and selling prints to raise money towards the Mums Mission total, donated to Sands.
Room Decor
Should you be able to provide us with anything to help make our room look wonderful, including table centrepieces, balloon decorations, roller banners or pop up displays, we will promote your business throughout our website and on the launch party itself.
